TINTYPE; An image from one of a number of proposed projects exploring the wet plate collodion process. Locating this early photographic system in the present facilitates juxtapositions of the past and present with an implicit projection of the same timespan into the future.
The archive of photographic record is relocated in the subjective personal space of a contemporary technological culture mediated by vast numbers of images every day, prompting questions around evolution, extinction, museology and the built environment.
