OPEN CALL 2025 - INDEPENDENT STUDIO ARTISTS LTD.
Independent Studios are located at numbers 11 and 16 Eustace St in two 18th Century buildings that have recently been refurbished. Independent Studios have been an artist led group studios for over 40 Years.
Due to the age of the buildings and the studios all being located on upper floors, unfortunately the studios are not wheelchair accessible.
Applications are invited for 6 studio residencies (work only, no living accommodation) of 1 to 3 years.
Monthly Studio Licence Fee is approximately 250 Euro including ESB.
To be eligible, applicants must be practising professional artists, with projects and exhibition profiles. Priority will be given to applications from artists who have not previously had a residency at Independent Studios.Studios vary in size; from approximately 3.6m x 4.6m to approx 4.5m x 5.5m all contain sinks.
Our Studios do not have WiFi.

The PDF should contain the following:
Artist name and contact details
8 images of work. Youtube links to any moving image works
A statement on your work which should also include some information about yourself, what you are currently working on and how you would use the studios during your residency, including what process you use. (max 300 words)
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of invited arts professionals.
Applicants will be notified by mid October .and residencies will commence on the !st of November 2025
